1. Can I bring a bottle of wine?

    There is a no glass policy on Destin beaches. Please make sure any drinks you bring are not in glass containers. We do offer plastic decanters so that you can decant your wine before your picnic and can decant any remainder back into your wine bottle at the end of your picnic.

2. I hear that parking is difficult at public beach accesses. Where should I park?

During the busy summer season it is recommended that you take a cab or Uber to your picnic location depending upon the location of the picnic. We recommend that you give yourself plenty of time to find parking if driving.

3. Are their bathroom facilities at the picnic location?

Yes, we choose locations that are close to facilities.

4. Is food included?

Food is not included.  You can add a food package created by our personal chef Annmarie at The Board Chef.  She can also create a custom menu to your specifications.   Some guests choose to bring their own food and some order delivery from a restaurant and we can meet the driver and set up the food at the picnic.

5. What food should I bring?

It is recommended to bring simple, elegant foods that are easy to eat. Bread, Cheese, Meats, Fruit, Crudite, Salads, Breads, Cookies, Cupcakes. We recommend Annmarie at The Board Chef for some delicious and beautiful picnic platters. Home - The Board Chef

6. How long does the picnic last?

The picnic lasts for two hours. If you wish to extend your picnic time there will be a $100 County Fee to extend events over 4 hours. Included in our 4 hour event we have two hours set-up and break down time and the two hour picnic. There will be an hourly charge of $75-$200 based on the size of the picnic.

7. Are the picnics in a private location?

Our picnics are located in public beach areas. We try to place the picnics in the best locations possible to avoid other people enjoying the beach. As the beaches are public there is no guarantee of complete privacy. Our picnics are very beautiful and sometimes draw attention!

8. What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellation more than 72 hours prior to picnic will receive a partial refund.  This partial refund is:  refund of total amount Minus the credit card service fee and Minus 35% of the total picnic package. Okaloosa County Event Fees are non-refundable. Cancellations less than 72 hours from the Date of the Picnic, there will be no refunds. Please make sure to be attentive to the weather so you can plan accordingly.  In the event inclement weather is predicted for the Date of the Picnic, upon request, we will try to reschedule the picnic based on availability.  There are no guarantees the picnic can be rescheduled.  Rescheduling requests must be executed 48 hours prior to the date of the picnic.  The Day of the Picnic there will be no rescheduling or refunds.

9. What if we break or spill something?

Small spillages (such as water or non-staining items) may not incur a fee. However, you may be billed for dry cleaning costs if required. Please inform us at the end of your picnic if there has been any major spills or accidents so we can try to resolve the situation without cleaning fees or replacing the item. All breakages must be paid for.

10. How many people can you accommodate if we want to do a group picnic?

Currently we can accommodate groups up to Fourty people.
